Fox being green with Glee?



While most of America was clutching their pillows and screaming at their TV yesterday night at the season finale of Fox’s Glee, I noticed a striking similarity between the characters Neil Goldman from Family Guy and Jacob Ben Israel (played by Josh Sussman) on Glee. Both are nerds in their high school attracted to a main character (Meg on Family guy and Rachel on Glee), have “Jew-fros,” wear thick rimmed glasses, have squeaky voices, use blackmail to try to get into their respective love-interests pants (unsuccessfully), and at one point report for a news agency. Coincidence? Or just Fox playing an inside joke.
